Hello, my name is Sean Ray, I am a Professional HydroFlight athlete. Born in Southampton, L.I. New York on Sept. 7th 1988.
I have been surrounded by water my entire life. Summer time water sports was what I lived for. At the age of 21, I moved to St.Thomas, located in the Caribbean U.S. Virgin Islands to fulfill my passion to travel. Four years later, I found myself selling all of my belongings once again.
Now packed up and headed to the middle of the desert, Las Vegas. I relocated for a few new employment opportunities that eventually fell through. Thankfully it was not what I was truly passionate about. Two years later, I stumbled across some friends flying at Lake Mead National Park. This was on May 11th, 2015. I gave it a try and I instantly fell in love. A few weeks later I let go of my current job as a VIP nightclub host. This decision led me to be the manager of the local Flyboard rental operation just two months later.
Located in a small Italian private community called Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, NV is where we operated. When that 1st season ended I became the events and security manager for the Village at Lake Las Vegas, so I moved myself on site.
Here I trained seven days a week on the newest, and most cutting edge equipment available year round. Fast forward about two years later and I have now attended eight of the most prestigious competitions in the world. I have repeatedly made it onto the podium at my last five national and international competitions. I’m consistently climbing the ranking charts and that has led me to be one of the sport’s top 3 world ranked HydroFlight athletes.
HydroFlight is entering the mainstream media on a global level and now is the time to get involved.
